HOW IT WORKS

The Wild Woman Diary consists of these basic steps, which you are more than welcome to incorporate into your own journey, should you choose to embark on one of your own.

1. Daily experiments based on intensive research primarily in spiritual texts, philosophy, science, and psychology.

The "experiments" include at least 15 minutes of practicing with a yoni egg every day, along with supplemental meditations and activities geared towards reclamation of the divine feminine., which include working with different chakras, hemispheric synchronization (activating the pineal gland), connecting with nature, and radical self-expression.

2. At least 3 pages of handwritten observations and insights after each experiment.

I cannot stress the importance of this step. Writing by hand is important, and writing in cursive is the best. The rhythmic nature of writing by hand calms emotions, improves learning, limits distraction, and synchronizes the hemispheres of your brain.

Usually these sessions of handwriting tend to be quite a bit more than three pages, as there's usually a lot of ranting and raving before I figure out what I'm going to say. My average is about 5-6 pages a day.

But three tends to be a pretty good number. (Julia Cameron, author of "The Artist's Way" recommends writing a minimum of three handwritten pages per day, in the morning, as a way to awaken the creative spirit.)

3. Creating art as a visual expression of the journey.

Sometimes, you just can't say it in words. I make artwork, take photos, carve wood, and assemble seemingly useless junk as an expression of my journey.

While most of this is viewable on the blog, to get the full picture you will need to follow Keggel on Instagram.

5. Sharing observations.

This is the most difficult step. No one said being real was easy.

I'll be sharing this through a private newsletter, on Instagram, and on Facebook.

With this experiment, I hope to answer these questions:

What are the immediate and longterm effects of adopting a consistent, committed yoni egg practice in mindfulness?

Are there noticeable differences between various gemstones?

How much is creativity fostered by meditation and self-inquiry?

Does synchronicity increase when adopting a consistent, committed practice in meditation and mindfulness?
