It feels good, to let our imagination drift freely through possible realities. Clarissa Pinkola Estes says it can be a “form of mind ice-cream, strictly for enjoyment”.

But it can also be a really useful tool. Fantasy is the beginning of forward action, the nascent stages of creating. This is where all of our future successes are born. These visions engender creativity.

Both the first and the second are healthy forms of fantasizing, but there is a third type of fantasy to be wary of- that sort which continually turns over the worst possible outcome, a limp form of self-sabotage.

If you catch yourself fantasizing in this third way, practice snapping yourself out of it, and force yourself to think of positive alternatives. Or, be proactive, and actively move towards a reality consciously created. And if you can't push it out with optimism, then just count your breaths until your thoughts are back to a more soulful, fearless rhythm. Escape into your body.

And yes, OF COURSE the yoni egg practice is AMAZING FOR THIS!
