I received some really useful feedback recently. One of my customers suggested that I encourage women to practice for one minute a day instead of five. At first, I wanted to argue that it wasn’t enough, but after hearing what she had to say, I realize that the woman has got a point.

“Meditation and practicing with a yoni egg is really hard in the beginning, and really disorienting. Time seems to stretch out, and five minutes can feel like five hours. If a woman can’t meet a five minute goal for meditation, she might just decide that it’s not for her, and give it up. But, if her goal is one minute, and she reaches that goal successfully, chances are she might try for two minutes the next time, and three after that.”

If you find that it’s difficult for you to stay focused while practicing with a yoni egg, try decreasing your goal from five minutes to only one minute. See how this minor mental shift effects how you feel about your success in your practice. I would love to hear your feedback if it’s working for you.
